The Consistency of Curls in the Calorific Summer

Oh my goodness- it is so hot! This weather is ridiculous. And, as always, my curls are not appreciative. But it's not just the weather. i think that your hair reacts to your emotions. That sounds kooky now, but wait! i have more to this theory.
My brother's girlfriend left for college today. We are all really sad about it; she is a part of this family. And, reacting to my funk, my hair will not cooperate today! i put it up, and it curled. Which i don't plan on fighting. No energy for that today. Do you ever have days like that? i seem to have a lot. i'd love to hear your hair styles for days like this.

what a whirl (or should i say curl?) this last month has been! My brother, Dylan, just graduated High School, along with his best friends Jesse, Spencer, and Michael. Those three are like my brothers. They're around enough, anyway! So, that along with the Comedy Sportz Senior Send-Off show, there hasn't been much time to deal with my hair! it's been all over with the crazy weather changes. and this summer, i was determined to get a job. and i did! i now work at Flour Garden Bakery. but again, not much time for reshaping ringlets. i'm not complaining, because all these things are so (left:Spencer, Michael, Jesse, Me, Dylan) important to me. but when you have hair like mine, it takes a little longer to prep in the morning. i've been experimenting with different types of products, shampoos, and conditioners, and i still haven't found the perfect one. However, TRESemme works pretty well, and i've found that leave in conditioner works wonders. i made this blog for two reasons: to talk about things that happen in my life, important events, parties, etc., and how my hair goes along with them. i hope to converse with other curly girls and get their opinions on products and styles.
